About your speaker:
Gordon Harold is Professor of the Psychology of Education and Mental Health at the University of Cambridge. Originally from Dublin, Gordon is a former middle and long-distance runner. He competed at Iowa State University before pursuing an academic career and has held appointments at Cardiff University, the University of Otago (NZ) and the University of Sussex. He is an advisor to multiple UK and international government departments, with specialist expertise in the area of family dynamics and child-adolescent development. He remains a keen runner and contributor to supporting athlete and coach development through research and practice.
